"Want to thank you for helping me with my application for the Family Readiness Officer position at Camp Kinser, Okinawa, Japan.

I received an interview last week and I am awaiting to hear from the panel if I made the second cut that will be forward to the General. I appreciated the quality of work that you and your team at Career Pro Center render to the customer.

Top-Notch! If I am blessed to be selected for the Family Officer position I owe a bit of gratitude to the men and women that God place in my pathway to help me achieve my goal. Again, thank you for your service and I will be a voice to others of what Career Pro Center can offer. "-Donald Williams

Master Federal Career Advisor / Training

A Closer Look at the MFCA/T Certification

master federal career advisor and trainer training from Military Resume WritersIn order to be authorized to serve clients as a career advisor or trainer, you must receive certification as an MFCA/T. This distinction shows that you have undergone the appropriate level of instruction for assisting clients seeking federal government positions. With the training and teaching skills acquired through your MFCA/T certification, you can proceed with confidence.

The first step in the process of becoming accredited is enrolling in the MFCA certification program. The course focuses on giving you a working knowledge of not only the federal hiring landscape, but also the various resources and support techniques.

The MFCA certification course is conducted online over a five-week span. It is set up to accommodate driven professionals with the desire to become master federal career advisors. The easy enrollment and flexible online format means it’s never been a better time to go for your MFCA/T. Past participants of the program have come from a wide range of backgrounds, including family readiness specialists, Department of Labor staffers, federal and military human resource personnel, college counselors and student advisors.

Surveying the Federal Government Career Market

The current landscape in federal employment is fast-paced and ripe with potential. The MFCA/T certification process will give you the detailed training to accurately convey what it all means to your clients’ career path. By having the skills to quickly assess an individual’s qualification level, you’ll be able to direct clients to federal job openings that fit their criteria. Then, you can begin the process of developing an effective application profile with them.

The MFCA/T also introduces those certified to the “Career Advisor’s and Trainers Toolbox” — a complete suite of resources that accelerate your ability to assist clients in a federal job search. The “Toolbox” includes everything from samples of interview-winning resumes and effective resume templates to visual presentation tools and informational materials. There’s even a guide to running a successful workshop and additional teaching aids that make it easier to structure a dynamic educational experience for your client.

The CPG Five-Check Point Format

CPG Train calls upon a five-check point format that makes the material covered in the certification process accessible to the candidate using sections that logically build upon one another. While the course typically takes an estimated six weeks to complete, prospective career coaches are encouraged to progress at the rate that’s most accommodating to their schedule.

Because the course spans six weeks, the material is presented at an even pace. Each checkpoint is accomplished in a single week that ends with a review quiz to confirm your grasp on presented material. During the last week, you’ll review each section and take the final certification exam.

Master Your Craft With the Help of Industry Experts

Who better to train you for a successful career as a training coach than the brightest teaching professionals and practitioners in the industry? Our expert instructors have created a course that will help you empower your clients with the skills to find a desirable career path in the federal job market.
